My client Hannah Wise wanted to create a new website to showcase the services offered by her business ChinaCake Productions. In addition, she wanted a way to show prospective customers a collection of her best work to help prospective clients see its quality, creativity and diversity.
The homepage features a striking background video loop with superimposed graphic elements to simulate a camera viewfinder, with an option to play a high quality showreel in full-screen with audio.
A portfolio section of the site shows a list of past work, which can be filtered by client name, genre and service used. Each item has it’s own page giving full details of the project alongside a video showing an video excerpt or trailer of the work.
Strong calls to action feature throughout the site, to enable the viewer to easily make contact and find out more about the services available.
The site is built on the WordPress CMS using a bespoke theme, which features a custom design and search engine optimisation considered from the very inception of the project.
