Western Sussex NHS Foundation Trust’s specialist website for their Sexual Health services was very outdated and needed to be brought up to date.
Working with Strategic ABM who owned the project, I designed a suite of new page template designs which Strategic ABM built as a bespoke WordPress theme. WordPress was selected as it is already used internally on UHS’ Intranet and staff internally are familiar with this platform, which makes it relatively easy to manage and update.

University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust was formed on 1 April 2021 by a merger of Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, running hospitals in Brighton and Haywards Heath, and Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, running hospitals in Shoreham-by-Sea, Worthing and Chichester. The Trust now runs seven hospitals across Brighton & Hove and West Sussex.
